I decided to change my name again!
— Sean Diddy Combs (@diddy) November 4, 2017
“I will not be answering to Puffy, Diddy, Puff Daddy, or any of my other monikers.”
Another year, another name. Or at least that appears to be the case with Sean Combs, err, the artist formerly known (twice over) as Diddy.
Yesterday, the Bad Boy founder’s 48th birthday, Combs took to Twitter to announce that he’s decided to take on yet another new name, following stints as Puff Daddy, Puffy, P. Diddy, and simply, Diddy, dubbing himself “Brother Love” in an all-smiles transmission from what appears to be mid-celebratory-round-of-golf.
The producer-turned-mogul claimed to be “something different,” in the clip, hence the transformative name-switch. He goes on to thank his family and god.
You can watch Brother Love make his first appearance in the clip above. His new documentary Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story is out now as an Apple Music exclusive. Hit the link below to buy or rent it today.
