Michael Fassbender and Alicia Vikander married in a secret ceremony over the weekend, according to reports from E! News.
“The notoriously private couple tied the knot in Ibiza on Saturday,” E! News reported.
The Daily Mail also published exclusive photos showing Fassbender and Vikander sporting wedding rings while celebrating with friends at a restaurant on the beach in Spain.
“Vikander wore a white dress and was twirling around as she took photos and seemed very happy and at ease,” an eyewitness source told E! News. “She and Fassbender were never too far apart and they got together to give each other a kiss and cuddle from time to time.”
Vikander, 29, won an Oscar for her performance in “The Danish Girl,” and also starred in the critically acclaimed “Ex Machina.” She’s also starring as Laura Croft in the upcoming “Tomb Raider” reboot.
Fassbender, 40, is best known for his roles in “12 Years A Slave,” “Inglorious Basterds,” and the new “X-Men” and “Alien” franchise films. He and Vikander fell in love while costarring in the 2014 drama “The Light Between Oceans.”
