NBC has renewed “Marlon” for a second season.
The series, based loosely on Marlon Wayans‘ own life, features a father hilariously working to raise his kids, co-parenting with his ex-wife through the ups and downs of modern life.
The first season of “Marlon” had only 10 episodes instead of the usual 13 and aired over the summer rather than during the midseason, as originally slated. However, despite both of these things, the family comedy has enjoyed great success, leading Deadline to report that NBC is considering a full run of episodes and an in-season run for the show.
With Season One ending just recently on Sept. 13, we’re already excited to see the Season Two return.
