The prolific off-kilter producer shares his latest project

Try if you’d like (and I do recommend a concerted attempt,) but there’s no keeping up with Norvis Junior. The Dallas-native musician and producer has released his second project in as many weeks.

The 10-track, Ten Minute Tommy You Ain’t Got No Job Why You Rappin, is perhaps satirical in title, but it shouldn’t be taken lightly. Blip-heavy and full of stankface-inducing funk, the release showcases a number of kinetic flows over staggered trap experiments. Think D.R.A.M. meets Knxwledge in a smoke-filled basement studio with all of the herbal merriments. You can hear it below.

Ten Minute Tommy follows last week’s release of CONTRAVERSEY, yet another installment in his must-hear Prince remix series. Hit the link below to peep that and his full catalog via Bandcamp. It’s deep dive. Be sure to pack light. There’s another on the way, so be sure to tune in for his next transmission.
