One of the most memorable scenes of Jordan Peele‘s breakout directorial debut Get Out is when viewers witness Chris Washington (Daniel Kaluuya) descend into the Sunken Place for the first time. Well, Peele referenced this moment in his movie recently to call out Tiger Woods for playing a game of golf with Donald Trump.

“Now you’re in The Sunken Place,” Peele tweeted in response to a tweet from Golf Channel about Woods playing with Trump and fellow professional golfer Dustin Johnson.

“After Turkey call I will be heading over to Trump National Golf Club, Jupiter, to play golf (quickly) with Tiger Woods and Dustin Johnson,” Trump had tweeted on Friday. “Then back to Mar-a-Lago for talks on bringing even more jobs and companies back to the USA!”

Peele’s Get Out is getting ready for 2018 awards season, with news recently announced that it was being submitted as a comedy for the Golden Globe Awards. The submission confused plenty of people across social media, with many feeling that categorizing the film as a comedy undermined its very poignant and serious commentary on race relations in America. Ultimately, even Peele himself spoke on the matter both in a tweet and in a recent panel for the movie.

“The problem is, it’s not a movie that can really be put into a genre box. Originally, I set out to make a horror movie. I ended up showing it to people and hearing, you know, it doesn’t even feel like horror. It’s in this thriller world. So it was a social thriller…What the movie is about is not funny,” Peele said. “I’ve had many black people come up to me and say, ‘man, this is the movie we’ve been talking about for a while and you did it.’ That’s a very powerful thing. For that to be put in a smaller box than it deserves is where the controversy comes from.”
