We are a group of Black Business Owners on a mission to save our community from private real estate developers who do not believe in preserving our community. Our goal is to build a black owned wealth building property to protect the culture of our community and provide economic resources to support choosing Leimert Park easier for generations to come.
Our commercial building acquisition will preserve long standing stores and retail spaces that currently reside in Leimert Park.
Our community land trust also supports a building plan that supports bringing an affordable housing complex with live/work space for artists and entrepreneurs
Within this proposition, we are able to support new, fully equipped retail spaces for rising entrepreneurs and vendors in Leimert Park.

Our mission is simple.
Keep Leimert Park in the hands of the community.
Our vision is to build a safer Leimert Park that preserves the cultural legacy of the community for generations to come. We are establishing an anti displacement commercial property acquisition pilot program to urge the LA County Board to support the Black Owned and Operated Community Land Trust.
The Black Owned and Operated Community Land Trust has a set of Board of Directors that are comprised of community members, stakeholders, and tenants (referred to as “Merchants”) to ensure the proper stewardship of land and the Land Trust’s mission to increase Black land ownership, affordability and entrance in the private markets to ensure economic mobility for all.
